OK I've dusted off my BG collection and spent the last few hours installing:

SOS, TS, TDD, BP1.77, BGT and the new worldmap. Seems to all be working fine but I thought it would be nice to add a new GUI to go with all the other mods. Does anyone know any that will work?

I found a couple but I'm not sure whether or not they would work because they seem to change the layout of the main menu. I wouldn't want them to conflict with the new BP layout that allows you to play BG1,2 or ToB.

Thanks to anyone who can help, I'm looking forward to playing one of the best games of all time yet again!

Assuming you have used the BiG World Install.bat to set the game up.

Well, most of the setup-gui.exe's GUI's work(you gain that from the BGT), just take a note that in most cases the new games BG2 will actually start BG1, and the Tutorial starts the BG2 game.
Now, if you have the General Biffing installed, you need to uninstall that, for the change to work, as you do not have the needed files in correct form...

Oh jeez! Sorry I didn't even notice that! I assumed it would ask me about any new GUIs when I installed the mods themselves.

Thanks for pointing that one out Jarno!

For an oldschool feel, I recommend LadeJarl's BG1 GUI. Works great with a BGT (and BWP) install. You can choose to start either a BG1, BG2 or BG2ToB game.

Just remember to install the GUI system before the Widescreen mod, or you'll brake everything...

Nice to hear. I think we'll include LadeJarl's GUI in one of the next BWP releases.

A Megamod does not mean that you can play all of the mods or all of their content,
but you have more choices or paths through the game.

Wouldn't it be easier to implement this as a feature to BWS, so it asks which GUI to install? Of course, I'll be doing it by hand anyway, like most of the end installation...

Yes, this is what we want to do in the future, because we must handle the BGT-GUI, too. I think, if we include some GUI mods, we will think about it how we could handle this.
