Hello Everyone,

Great work with the installer, it worked quite well and it's much easier to follow than the previous install where we had to follow step by step the pdf.

I have a question about the kits installation :
I started a game after the installation, everything was fine except that there were almost no kits installed. Since I really like them, I'd like to know how should I do it ?

For example, I wanted to install the RoT kits. So I launched the weidu setup of this mod and choose Re-install since it seems to be the most relevant option. And now, weidu is reversing most of the install of the megamod ! I'm a bit concerned it will crash my install.

Is there any other way to add kits to the megamod ?

Thanks for your time :-)

Yes, most likely you destroyed the installation.
In general, you should have said something like: No changes for installed components, ask for every component that is not installed and select the kit-components you would like to have. In most cases, this should be done before the biffing.
THINK! - It's not illegal.

A Megamod does not mean that you can play all of the mods or all of their content,
but you have more choices or paths through the game.

Sorry i didn't see that post and it indeed answered some questions.

About my test, it ruined my install ... I guess i'll have to make a new one  Weidu couldn't manage to roll back and reinstall that much mods it ended with somme nice fireworks

Now you can install as you wish, kits you have previously had to skip. This can be the TDD or RoT kit packs or
single kits from different mods.

This phrase in your guide (and your post) is a bit misleading. That's exactly what I wanted to do. But since i couldn't choose to simply add the kits, i crashed my install. At least the RoT kits can't be installed after the megamod.
I keep no grudge on anyone ... except me for not making any backup before trying some risky move  And with this new Installer it's so much easier to make un mega-installation, it's almost funny :woot:

Would it be possible to make a list of all available kits (from the supported mods or selected mods) in the Big World Installer to choose from ? that would be awsome

Like we always said and mentioned, we have no experience in kits, but we are interested in it to include kits into (or test the existing ones with) the BWP. But that will not happen in the near future... There are to much other things to do first.

Let us talk about kits in the mentioned thread of Gaspare.

No problem, I totally understand kits don't work exactly like mods

I'll keep an eye on the thread you mentioned.
