About six months ago, I discovered the BiG World Project, and I thought "GREAT! A new way of playing BG1 and BG2", and I have to say you guys have done an AWESOME job of putting this together!!! The guide I found and used is the 8.3 version, installed all the mods I wanted to play, and everything went without a hitch. Just that now though, I'm going through the Grey Clan quest, and at the Friendly Arm Inn, I am encountering two glitches. The first is during the cutscene of when you first enter the FFA and High Sorceress Linda is going to try to get the items from the Mold Golem even though the keys are most likely inserted in the wrong order. The problem is, there is no Mold Golem. So what happens in my installation is that Linda and Vladimir remain "friendly" while the bandits and orogs attack. Game play can continue from here, where you encounter the other side quest characters of the mod and other normal encounters with the bandits inside the FFA. The second glitch that I've encountered is on the second floor, where Mary is suppose to be in stone form. Again, no Mary. However, I've gotten around this little glitch using the CLAU and inserted here that way. I thought this would have also worked with the Mold Golem, but when I try to use the CLAU, and I 'think' that the file name of that creature is 'bw05mgol', I get the error that the file does not exist. Without the Mold Golem, I cannot insert the keys to obtain the items that it's carrying so that I can complete this quest. I'm not certain if this is the correct area to report such a problem, and I tried to search this forum to see if others had this occur as well, but for some reason the search feature of this site doesn't seem to work for me (I keep getting this 'driver' error/'error with the database'). I've been playing the game for months now and hope that there is an easy way to resolve this issue, cause I would hate to be required to uninstall everything and reinstall it all over again (remember, it took 5 hours to install the BWP!! :woot: ) Thank you. Oh, I forgot about this one also, because it's easy to just skip, and I haven't played through it yet because it ties in tightly with NTotSC, Durlag's Tower, and the Drizzt Saga, but what happens there is that when enter the inn at Urgoths' Beard the second time, Drizzt appears there again for the second time, even if the Drizzt Saga quest has been completed. From what I've seen in other postings of people reporting problems, they've included their Weidu.log, so I shall do the same here. Thanks again!

:whistling:

CLAU

It's CLUAConsole . :P
The Mold Golem should be "bw05mgol.cre" so the code you have to insert is:
CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("bw05mgol")
But you could also try this:
CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("bw05mold")
And see what happens( I don't remember was it the Mold Golem or the Crystal Servant that is required).

and I tried to search this forum to see if others had this occur as well, but for some reason the search feature of this site doesn't seem to work for me (I keep getting this 'driver' error/'error with the database'). The forum search hasn't been working from the start of this year, it got cheesed from the forum update... but what you should do is go here and file a complaint that they have closed up their support... for paying "customers". Wankers...
Which a real game moding site would never do.

I have tried both versions of your suggestion. The first still gives the 'file does not exist' message, and the second creates the Crystal Servant from the cave. I have searched in my BGII/SoA folder and found the bw05mold and the bw05mgol file in the same folders. From a file called SETUP-TGCE1.DEBUG, I've looked through and from what my limited understanding is, the mod supposedly installed correctly, and doesn't appear to be conflicting with anything else. So I am at a loss....

In your TGC1e\Actors folder in your BGII-SoA folder (lol :P) there should be a BW05MGOL.CRE ... put that file into the override folder for a temporary fix. The names would be messed up but it beats being unable to complete the quest right?? :D ... I guess :P

PS: You might still need to CLUA the golem in after copying the file ;)

Thank you Lollorian, that fixed the problem....and I didn't have to use the CLUAConsole. Don't know if this is a factor or not, but I noticed that the original BW05MGOL file is 1.08 KB in size, while the others are all 1.10 KB in size. Could something have been changed in it with the installation?

Well, problem here is that the original .cre file (which got patched during the install ... many times over :P) somehow got deleted before being biffed!

You might wanna do a changelog (according to point #6 in the Megamod FAQ in my sig) of BW05MGOL.CRE - AFTER you delete/remove/cut the new file you copied into the override ;) Might give the guys here some clues :P
