ERROR Re-Installing [SETUP-TDD.TP2] component 1

Something fishy is going on, I would start from a clean setup if I were you...
As you shouldn't be reinstalling anything.

HD0:=C:\BWS\BGII - SoA\
CD1:=C:\BWS\BGII - SoA\data\
CD2:=C:\BWS\BGII - SoA\data\
CD3:=C:\BWS\BGII - SoA\data\
CD4:=C:\BWS\BGII - SoA\data\
CD5:=C:\BWS\BGII - SoA\data\
CD6:=C:\BWS\BGII - SoA\data\

Make that to be:
HD0:=C:\BWS\BGII - SoA\
CD1:=C:\BWS\BGII - SoA\data\
CD2:=C:\BWS\BGII - SoA\data\
CD3:=C:\BWS\BGII - SoA\data\
CD4:=C:\BWS\BGII - SoA\data\
CD5:=C:\BWS\BGII - SoA\data\;C:\BWS\BGII - SoA\CD5\
And it should work...

The CD6 is none existing CD folder... that doesn't exist. It comes either from a tutorial in the GoG site or from the GoG install itself... <_<

So what do I do with CD6, leave it or delete it?

Here is what you will need to install the BiG World Project:

- Baldur's Gate 1 + Tales of the Sword Coast Expansion Pack
- Baldur's Gate 2 + Throne of Bhall Expansion Pack
- BiG World Setup
- 30 gigabytes of hard drive space (It can get quite large)

Follow these steps to install this massive project:

- Istall both games and their respective expansion packs completely, meaning choose the "Custom" option during BG1 installation and "Full" during BG2 installation.

- DO NOT install them into their standard folders. Let go of the /Program Files/ in the directory, but do not change the root. For example, mine were in D:\Games\BGII - SoA and D:\Games\Baldur's Gate.

- Once both are done, patch them if you are using the disk version. For the digital version, make a .txt file with the title: BG2-ToBPatchReadMe.txt and paste it into the BGII - SoA folder.

- For digital users only, you have an additional step to do. In the BG2 - SoA folder, make the following folder CD5\movies\. Now copy the 25movies.bif file from your data\movies folder and paste it into the CD5\movies\ folder.

- Start a Baldur's Gate 1 game and press Q to make a quick save.

- Now make a Baldur's Gate 2 game and press Q to make a quick save.

- Start a Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal game and press Q to make a quick save.

- Execute the BiG World Setup program

- A program will appear, let it update and do what it needs to do. When it gets to the screen with three directors, the first two should match your installation directory. If done correctly, there should be a green light to the right of your directories. If not, you can change it to match your installation directory.

- You can choose between "Minimal" which does not alter the game much, "Standard" for those who have played before, "Recommended" for new comers and "Tactic" for those interested in a challenge. "Expert" is for the insane. To the right of the compilation bar is a [...] button, where upon pressing allows you to decide which modifications you want installed.

- Once ready, click next and be prepared to wait. This may take several, several hours.

- After it is finished, it will ask you various things which Yes or No answers that are fairly straight forward. Continue to do this and it will continue to install.

- Once this is finished, use the ToBExLoader.exe in your BGII - SoA directory and play with Minsc and Boo.

Here is what you will need to install the BiG World Project:

What are you trying to say ? Is that a quote from somewhere ?

So what do I do with CD6, leave it or delete it?

Well, I would delete the reference and adjust the CD5, like said above.

Yes that is in the folder where you download the BWS... that is what I have been trying to explain, it is the READ ME INSTRUCTIONS that are attached to it.

Ok I did delete it like you said on a install today, everything was fine and everything installed.

However during the GoG digital version you are not meant to patch as it requires you to use a CD right. Now I got to the install part and it comments that the game is not patched correctly...

So I went and patched with the BGII - SoA Patch you commented on, not the other patch that you warn about, the correct one and then installed everything was fine.

Got to running the game from the TOB Loader etc and it came up with "No Expansion CD in drive" message on the game....

Can you confirm how to fix this at all?

Also if I have a 1920x1200 resolution would I enter those properties in on the Installation Wide Screen Mod X'Y Properties or leave it as default?

Thanks look for your reply.

This mod is fucked, yes fucked.

If the BWS does not get the connection to the file locations it fucks up.

Have done nearly 10 fucken installs. Seriously Torrent the whole fucken files and folders to just then run manually the install programme avoid the BWS it is fucken full of faults and if you install manually too the Installer gets the shits because it was not done in a smooth order.

Fucked.

How can you put so much time into development for this mod and have it with such a gaped asshole to make it un user friendly beyond belief. Even doing D2 mods in the day with limited knowledge was easier then this mess.

Fantastic, another Error. It is either the fucken Patch issues with GoG, the BWS not being able to "Find/Download" or the installer hanging and then if you manually enter information it fucks out.

Attempt number 12. How great this is!

Just make aware thousands of players all over the world are playing BWP enthusiastically. Don't blame BWS for problems that arise with that GoG version. Blame GoG. And don't snub people that want to help you. BWS did not consider any special GoG version. I always use BWP install.bat and can garantee that it installs perfectly the versions coming on CD or DVD but I don't know anything about the GoG version and don't want to investigate that. Maybe you can get any further support here:
