"The righteous need not cower before the drumbeat of human progress. Though the song of yesterday fades into the challenge of tomorrow, God still watches and judges us. Evil lurks in the datalinks as it lurked in the streets of yesterday, but it was never the streets that were evil." - Sister Miriam Godwinson, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri

I (or anyone else) can read it. You only need a paid account to post or view archived (> 6 months) threads (and that if it isn't archived for free at lparchive.org ).
They only open the forums to non-paid viewership every once in a while. They are currently closed. I have the author's permission to re-post the Let's Play here. If there are no objections I'd like to start. Perhaps I can get it synched up so that members of this forum can also participate in the voting that's going on. They have a lot of votes for which paths to take in quests and which party members to take as well. I think it would be fun. I also think it might be a good resource for modders to see which NPCs do not yet have portraits and other stuff like that.

Still can read it. I'm sure the SA forums have a rule that prohibit you from posting their content on another fora, independently of the post author's consent, though. They only open the forums to non-paid viewership every once in a while. I'm not asking what the SA forums would think about this, because I don't really think that's an issue. If there's interest here, and I'm not breaking any of this site's rules, I'd like to do it.

Because that would cause SA to lose revenue. Also, they can't enforce that rule with 100% accuracy, but it isn't impossible to bring the banhammer down if publicly claim that you will repost the thread here and start reporting votes there.I don't really see how such a rule could ever be enforced... and I do have the post author's consent. Why would they care about what happens on another forum?

I don't have a problem with it, absolutely! If you wouldn't mind, though, could you post it in the Baldur's Gate gameplay area? You can find it here.
Look forward to reading it!
Thanks K'aeloree! I've begun with the first update here. I currently have 46 updates to get through so I will post one per day until I get all caught up. Then people can participate in voting and I will count them alongside the votes I get from the SA Forums. I'm sure it will be fun times for all.
