After playing trhough CloakWood with Faldorn on my party, I wanted to kick her, but have the option to pick her later.

She says she has no patience for weaknesses and if she wants action she will have to make her own, the leaves and I cant find her anymore.

Is it normal ?

Also, my BWP instalation is a bit old, and my BG1NPC is v. 1.8. Can I install the latest ( 2.0 ) with no problems ?

Tx

I cant speak to the first part of your question.. but as to the second.. did you biff your BWP game, and if so.. what did you use? end_bif or general bif? If you used general bif did you run the cleanup bat?

When I try shit like this.. what I do if you have the HD space, Is make a folder called BG_Game_ok copy your working current game there.. then add the mod you want.. that way you dont destroy your game. but with that one.. if you biffed your current game.. I cant see anything good.. if you didnt or you used general bif.. where you can undo it.. you have a chance.. but as this is a BWP install.. well good luck.. do what I say before you try.. that way you can re-add your game if you have the space.. and can at least go back to your working game.

EDIT: To be clear.. if you biffed your game AND used General_bif.. AND did not run the cleanup bat file, you will have to undo it.. that is uninstall gen bif then you will have to uninstall BG1NPC and then install the version you want.. If you never biffed your game.. you dont have to worry about that step.. However for what its worth.. a BWP is so touchy doing shit like that you may hit allot of issues.. I know as Ive installed it a ton of times to test stuff.. anyway hope this helps.. good luck

Hum ... I dont know if the BWP instalations uses end_bif or general bif, but I am sure that I used clean up.bat. The preblem is, I am a totally Nooby on computer things, so I needed to use the BWSetup to install the MegaMod, I have no chance to install it another way, so I think many of the mods that it downloaded are outdated. My work doesnt allow me the time to find the mods 1 by 1, so I guess I will be stuck with it.
I have, so far , found 3 problems, and I guess there will be more:
1 - Found 2 Eldoths, one just outside Candlekeep, and one in CloakWoods.
2 - Jaheiras Quest, where u need to rescue Beldor and Maretha is broken, needed to CLUASConsole my way out.
3 - This Faldorn issue, dont know if this is her right behavior.
And some others, like big stutter tha fixes it self occasionally, and journal entries that doesnt erase after completion.

Tx for the reply, sorry bad english

It is a bug indeed ... Via SK lowered my reputation from 20 ( my current ) to 1, 1 by 1.Tryed to kick Faldorn. No good. Then, went to Beregoust, entered a house and killed a slleping woman, thus my rep droped from 20 to 10. Saved a test game. Kicked Faldorn, everything is ok, she can be sent to a inn like any other NPC. reloaded, Via SK, insert reputation to 20 again. Kicked her, everything is fine, she can be sent to any inn again. Hope this helps the modders to correct the problem.

Reputation-dependent "sticking around" is not a bug, it is intended behavior - and occurs for all BG NPCs, whether modded or not. So, Faldorn will go away if your reputation is too high when you kick her out; Ajantis will leave if your reputation is too low.

You don't have to kill innocents to drop you reputation, if you have the Bardic Reputation Adjustment part of BG1NPC installed. You can spend money instead to have a bard talk up your dangerousness and heritage, thus lowering your reputation (roleplaying option).

Unfortunately, using SK to change the rep back just delayed her leaving - the reputation value is checked against only when there is a change. So changing via SK will not register in your savehgame (the "leaving due to rep" call has already triggered) but will register again whenever the engine is called to check the Reaction or Reputation.

Tx for the reply ...
Made another test ... Lowred my reputation until 5 through the bards, and she still would leave forever.
Reloaded, lowred the reputation same way, killed a commoner, she was then avaiable for recruit again.
Brought back reputation to 18 on the temple, kicked her and she was avaible for recruit again. No SK this time, had to sell almos all equipment to make the money for the test.
My weido:
Spoiler

Tx, hope this helps to know whats wrong.

She's a DRUID, thus true neutral.

There is nothing wrong. Neutral characters have no tolerance for extremes.

Though i think Jaheira was changed to neutral good though that is against the rules, to harmonize her leaving with Khalid. (since they leave together, there was a trick to keeping her if you were good, just kick out Khalid instead of her).

When I killed a commoner, does not matter which rep I have, she is always avaiable to go to yhe inns.
