I have a huge problem when trying to install BGT. Note. Firstly. I customed installed both BG and ToTSC with everything selected. And did a full installation of both Shadows of Amn and ToB.
Now to the problem. When I start the setup of BGT, everything goes fine. I choose my language. I choose to read or not to read the walkthrough. I choose to install it and I choose what directory to install it in, then the problems starts. About a few seconds into the installation, I get a pop-up saying an error was detected and the setup crashed....I really do not know how to fix this.
I would appreciate some help please.
PS: Ohyah, I am running on Windows 7

Is it BGT 1.13 you are trying to install?
Have you patched ToTSC to 5512 and ToB to 26498?
Have you installed the games outside Program Files? If not I suggest you do that.

Hook. No they arent patched to what you said, but it is mainly due to me being unable to find those patches on the internet. all the links seems broken. Also, yah. It is BGT1.13

A screenshot? Or even the Windows error log in the Event Viewer would help.

Erhm, that's false, you get to be asked from where the BG1 directory is in, -at that stage-, not where you want the BGT to be installed into, as you have already extracted the mods files to the BGII directory, and that's where the BGT will be installed to.I choose to read or not to read the walkthrough.
