extract aTweaks to your bg folder, copy the file from the link above into the aTweaks directory (overwrite when prompted)

So which aTweaks version should we overwrite with your v4.53 addon? The last official release from a decade ago? Or this one currently linked on the SHS index (but which is already marked v453)?

The one on SHS GitHub is the last official release, previously uploaded here on the forums on May 19, 2018 as:

• aTweaks (Windows version) - atweaks-v453.exe
• aTweaks (platform independent) - atweaks-v453.zip

I have forked Wisp's repo in our organization to attach these files for download because neither Wisp nor Cam has provided the actual mod packages in the releases, and we have shut down the forum download center. So, confusingly, TotoR's addon (addontoatweaks_v453.zip) doesn't update aTweaks to v453, but rather is based on that version. On the other hand, the alternative package (addontoatweaks_vTotoR.zip) is based on TotoR's own unofficial fork of aTweaks (v4.54).

 

In other words, if you want just this addon, without other unofficial changes to aTweaks, first install the official aTweaks v453 (atweaks-v453.exe or atweaks-v453.zip), then install TotoR's addon (addontoatweaks_v453.zip).

Thanks, that makes sense (or rather doesn't, but you help me make sense of it anyway ). I don't suppose TotoR's v4.54 is in a playable state, considering he hasn't made a release of it yet? I'd pick whichever version offers best compatibility with SCS, really... not too fussed about the add-on one way or the other (although the slimes look fun).
