Dirk is an elf? I never realised that. Wow. So he's a sub-race of the elf or something? Star wolf - part wolf part elf? It kinda reminds me of the Silver Shadows in Elaine Cunningham's book, they were elf but can be wolf (i think) that melt into the shadow. Kinda intriguing.

I like the way you bring up Atheriel's relationship with Maria. Very smooth. And now I'm curious why she would betray her mistress and help Cyreth.

Yeah, heh, Dirk's an elf. . The Star Wolves, however, aren't part wolf part elf... they're... remaining 'unknown' at the moment, I guess
