Thanks, it's a pleasure to meet some other modders.

I have the pleasure to announce that the translation has just begun, with a team of two french members ( Red Knight and Bloody Mary) and a native english speaker from PPG (Melora). Then you can expect the mod for SoA at the end of 2008 (for Christmas, why not?).

As I said, this mod is at the moment not translated in english, I have no time. I know that it is impossible to read anything in the trailer, but I have made captures of my work ingame for showing that Severian exists and talks ingame : it's not a joke, if you prefere. Concerning the movie in the trailer, it is a personal choice : the trailer would be boring with only captures of the game (more if we can't read anything, you told it yourself) and I want to show who is Severian, not only a heap of pixels : he has a soul, he as an appearance somewhere else that in a game. And the player can feel the atmosphere of the mod, don't you think? In brief, it's technically impossible and very stupid to make a trailer with only captures of the game and I'm sure you can understand it. This trailer is not only the promotion of the mod, it's too, for me, a form of art. It has been a pleasure to compose it for Severian.
Concerning the stats of Severian, they are not definitive, I must think about it. When the time come, I will post the screen about his stats.
Concerning the items, I will just reveal that there are 6 new items for SoA, at the moment, including 3 weapons. Showing them would be a big spoil, that's why I won't do it.

But your opinion is important for me and interesting, then I will try to describe his personnality, hard in few lines:

- A furtive fighter, charmer and fine blade, who spent his life on the road, as a highwayman.
- Like the apples, the beer, the courtesans and smoke the pipe
- Optimistic, sarcastic, sometimes disenchanted
- His best friend : Blaidd the Shadow wolf

Of course, it's important to develop my character here, but I don't like to reveal too much of my work. I'll just say that I worked more than 200 hours since the beginning (december 2007) and that the mod is at the moment in beta 2.5 with two of the three Chapters of the Chronicles for SoA programmed.

Impressive trailer, and you seem to have put already quite a few hours into this and it looks promising
I am only slightly affraid due to the trailer that this NPC may take away a big piece of the stage of the PC, a thing that people dislike, besides the very textual love scenes, of the Kiara and Zaiya mod

Hello DeathAngels, I will quickly reassure you and everybody, Severian has a story, certainly, but he stays the exploitation of Charname : he stays a fellow, he is not the hero of the game and you can see in the trailer that I have included pictures of Baldur's Gate 2 in parallel with pictures for Severian. By doing that, I mean that Charname and Severian have destinies to accomplish, together, and it's not only the Severian's destiny.
Concerning the romance, I like writing...I'm not sure to understand exactly what you mean by "besides the very textual love scenes, of the Kiara and Zaiya mod" but there will be a lot of text, that's right, and more than this text, a lot of stage setting. But I hope, nothing written with rose water...Hmm, not sure to be clear...Arf.*

Concerning the hours on this mod, I'm around something like 200 hours or more.
