Hi again,

Thanks a lot for the help, it works now! I would hug you all if I could squeeze my arms through the ethernet cable! :D

The trick was to avoid the Trademeet tavern when Edwin was about to change back. I did the druid quests there right after he transformed into a women, then left the place and went questing in the city until Degardan appeared for the second time. Next time we rested in Athkatla the LT worked fine. I also got another LT since then. Yippee! :)

One thing though, he took a lock of my hair while he was still Edwina, but never got back to me on the subject. I'm not sure if I'm missing something here, or is this gonna come up later?

First and the simplest solution: The 'kiss' talk will appear when resting in an INN (excluding Vyatri's Pub in Trademeet - it's buggy) Try sleeping in Seven Flagons.

Ah!!!! I happened to be precisely in that inn when the change happened! So THAT is the freaking problem!
Thank you so much for this info, I'm pretty sure that reloading the game to an Edwina point and resting somewhere else will solve the problem. Can't wait to get home and test it! By the way, it's FIVE Flagons - but maybe after 5 flagons they do seem seven! :D

Second the tinkering solution: Hmmm... why should EDWINROMANCEACTIVE be at 2 (devoted romance stage, sets after Edwin turns into a male again and after the kiss talk), while he's a female? Try typing in CLUAConsole (or editing in SK) and setting this global back to 1. When tinker a little ans set EDWINLOVETALKCHECK to 32 - this will immediately force the dialog.

The main variables which are used in the romance is EDWINROMANCEACTIVE (ToB only, should be at 2), EDWINMATCH (should be at 1) and EDWINLOVETALKCHECK (which varies from 2 to 42, even numbers only)

Agashi's right considering the flirts. It's confusing because of the girl-to-girl actions. The oyl way to restore the flirts (plus the devoted ones, like kissing and hugging :D) is to turn Edwina back to a man again..

Thanks a LOT guys, everything you wrote is an enermous help! I'll let you know how things work out - perhaps this could help others in a similar situation.

Thanks for your reply! I'm glad that people still know what I'm talking about when I mention Baldur's Gate :)

What you write is reasonable, and he's turned back already so I could live with that. However, nothing I do seems to make the slightest difference. He won't talk, no matter where I go or what I do. :(

I kicked him out of the party to see what happens to the variables, and guess what! When I went to pick him up in the Copper Coronet, his name was Edwina! He appeared male though and stayed the same when he joined the party again.

I've just noticed that there are local variables too on the "Affects" tab in SK. Does anyone have an idea of what these and the global ones are good for, or which of them should be set to what level to kick the romance off again?
