First of all, as per the welcome message, thanks to al the modders who've enriched our lives and made them more enjoyable!

Right.... Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere before, I did do a search on these forums (and a lengthy Google search!) but I couldn't find a solution anywhere.

I'm not new to RPGs in general, but I am new to the Baldur's Gate series. My problem is that I'm trying to multiclass my half-elf ranger to cleric in BG1 (using BGT), but can't seem to.

This is the list of the mods I've installed (from the DSimpson - thanks! - walkthrough):

1. Install BG1 & TotSC
2. Patch TotSC
3. Install BG2 & ToB
4. Patch ToB
5. Install Oversight
6. Install BG2 Fixpack
7. Install Ascension
8. Install Turnabout
9. Install BGT
10. Install bg1npc
11. Install BG1UB
12. Install Unfinished Business
13. Install BG2 Tweaks
14. Install Widescreen

My avatar's stats are:

Race: Half-Elf
Class: Ranger (no kit)
Alignment: Lawful Good

STR: 18/80
DEX: 17
CON: 17
INT: 8
WIS: 17
CHAR: 10

I'm already level 4 and the button over 'Level Up' is greyed out. Furthermore, it should say 'Multiclass', yet says 'Dual Class' instead.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? My understanding is that only humans can dual class, and that only half-elves can multiclass ranger/cleric.
