Checked for the TIS and WED files, and found that they were absent. Did a search for the files in the CtB folder in the game folder, and all 6 or so area files were found in the CtB folder, but its possible they weren't installed.

Heres the thing: I cant actually skip the segment. It never actually loads. Im in Chateau Irenicus, the message above my head pops up saying, "Years ago, when you were much younger and inexperienced" and the next area loads...or attempts to. Thats when it crashes. I never actually get to play BG2. Can i uninstall the Candlekeep Chores component? Will it mess up the entire installation if i remove just that mod? or perhaps I can take all 6 of the area files and put them in the override folder?

Strangely enough, DLTCEP doesnt even list the AR3501 in the list of areas. So thats a clue right there

I'm not really sure that generalized biffing is the problem here, unless The Champ has a completely different problem with the exact same area. I have the generalized biffing installed and im still having a problem.

Whats the protocol for adding areas to the override folder? Is there any way to add the proper area to the folder and fix the problem?

The funny thing is that i seem to be having the same issue. I have the BWS installed with a tactic version, and as soon as the candlekeep chores mod is about to load, it crashes. BTW im not Italian, so if you have any italian-only mods, i would rule those out :)

Something i just noticed, in fact, is that there seems to be no error of the crash in the Baldur.err for some reason. i have logging enabled, and all it says is "Starting logging session" and nothing gets reported. I'm anxious for some answer to this question, as ive searched all through the site and it seems alot of other users are having specific trouble with this ar3501 as well.
