I'm playing through BG2 on the Story Mode difficulty and I'm finding it a touch too easy for my tastes. Honestly, I just want to play BG2 without permadeath - though ideally the bhaalspawn would still be susceptible to death, or it would feel too easy (for my own subjective tastes). I've tried resorting to auto-revive spells after party members die, but it's a pain to have to pick up all their items and re-equip them. If such a mod does not exist, could someone get me a sense of how a mod that did this would be built? I've never made a mod before but it might be fun to try.
