Thanks everyone for your quick responses.  Seanas: in answer to your question, I'm not sure.  I presently have tdd103full.exe and the TDD103-to-103A-patch installed.  As far as I can tell, I downloaded them from the iegmc.mirror around November 1, 2005. Are those the latest?  (BTW, I lack sophistication regarding mods in general, so if I say anything stupid please accept my apology in advance.)

At this point, I fairly far into my current BP game.  I've just completed most of Chapter 3 and thought I'd do some of the TDD quests before leaving for Spellhold.  Except for the Solaufein, Sime and Sola problem I asked about in a previous topic, the build has been virtually bug free to this point.

I've enjoyed the quest so far and would like to see it to conclusion, but don't want to risk destabilizing my current installation (had some problems with my preceding TuTu game that required me to start over twice from about Chapter 4).  Is there anyway to fix it without compromising the build?  If not, I guess I can skip the end of the quest and move on.  That, however, would be a shame.

If it helps, I've experimented a bit and Jaheira has talked to the non-existent Dermin in the Umar Hills, at the Docks and at Cromwell's forge.  Since its happened out-of-town, in-town and inside a building, I suppose Dermin's failure to appear is not the product of location.

Thanks for the quick response. Actually, I'm just running BP (just finished a TuTu game, so no need for BGT). Does that change your answer regarding concurrent romances? I think concurrent romances is one of the features of the Ease of Use program. However, the BP documentation says that we should only add the features expressly listed, and concurrent romances was not one of the listed features.
