In Topic: Question concerning KOTOR's 2 resolution

12 June 2005 - 12:22 AM

I run the game in a system with an Intel P4 2.8,  Nvidia FX 5900 128 MB and 512 MB of DDR2 Ram so I am way ahead even the recommended requirements :D

Tom is right, in KOTOR 1 the change of resolution increased or decreased the size of in game menus which resulted in a more  appealing and balanced view.

Obsidian (former Black Isle) did it again! I remember from the days of Torment when the game interface was many years ahead its time then the interface in BG1 which was of lesser quality  and the more improved interface of BG2 to end to the gaming interface in IWD 2 which was in my opinion rather mediocre. I can not understand why they have not just make some improvements to the original interrface of KOTOR 1 addind things but leaving the overall philosoply untouched.

Another point is the low quality sound and the fact that although I have a Soundblaster Audigy 2 soundcard surround sound  6.1 or 7.1 is not working.

Well the game seems very promising but those little things are that can make a difference. Let's hope that Obsidian will address these matters in a future patch.
