Sorry about the mixup guys. I was having trouble finding 6.04 and the BD fixpack you guys ask for in the install. I found them through thewizard's site, which I didn't know about previously. These are some pretty big forums to navigate. I'm sorry I've not been able to read every post, but I'm new and when all this opens up to you it seems pretty overwhelming. I'll try what you guys yhave suggested and let you know.

Ahem, there is a pinned topic called '_WeiDU and tis2bg2 crashes' that describes what you need to do about this, but it does not say anything (the topic title) about CTDs. Updated to make it clearer. Hopefully, people will stop posting about this and read that pinned topic now...

When I was installing, I put in a Quake 4 CD into the tray when I went to install BGT, and everything worked perfectly. To me, it sounds like it's trying to call a file that doesn't exist.. I would assume to reinstall BGT with some different disc inside install of ToB or anything BG related.

From what I understanmd though, I did some forum searching and found that other people have had this problem too, pretty much at random. I'm just gonna leave Beregost..nothing but sidequests anyway.

That's actually a pretty decent idea. Do the area east of the Kobold Stronghold and the nashkel mines exit work for you?
