#490516 Is Morte not being captured a bug?

Posted by HomiSite on 22 June 2010 - 10:18 AM in PS:T Fixpack

It's a bit OT, sorry :-)

I'm still curious to know if Morte not being captured
would have shut out advancement in the game.
I had that happen once in a game I love called Divine Divinty.

Divine Divinity is a fine, beautiful game - although the first dungeon is the worst (and could give the player the impression that it's really just a Diablo'esk Action-RPG). When it was released, D.D. was horribly bugged, I played it with the last official patch (which deactivated the beautiful dusk/dawn lightning). I got no plot stopper bug, but one quest in the beginning doesn't work right. And you shouldn't use the teleport stones or teleporters across different areas - it kills your map. What was you plot stopper bug?

 I am not aware of that bug and I also don't know how you have installed PS:T, but if you don't have a manual full installation, try to delete the content of the "cache" subfolder. I had a game stopper bug when I was playing PS:T a while ago - but without Qwinn's patches, only Platter's! - and that helped.

#485564 Version 4.1 of all 3 mods released!

Posted by HomiSite on 22 April 2010 - 09:18 AM in PS:T Fixpack

Thanks you for the update! I am just browsing the changelog - impressive!

PS: This small german translation change was overseen at qtweak.tra, @21:
It should be "~"Frueher Glabrezu"-Anpassung~" (no umlaut, because they do not work properly in the Weidu installation dialogues).

Do you need these lines (or at least @10605) also for the german version? Then I will update the recent 4.1 revision.

#476311 Translations needed for version 4.0

Posted by HomiSite on 21 January 2010 - 02:20 PM in PS:T Fixpack

Revised german translation for 4.1 based on InTourette's work. I only mention parts which are currently incorrect/missing/unpolished etc. - just copy&paste my stuff. Comments of mine after "=>". And german special characters (umlauts etc.) are not displayed correctly in WeiDU installation dialogues (I made a correction thus; hope I found all ä, ü, ö or ß). Update: @10605 translation for fixpack.tra

FIXPACK.TRA

@00101 = ~"Also, was bist du, Morte? Du hast es nie erzählt."~ [FFG121]
=> No german sound

@00113 = ~"Verdammt, Vhailor, ist dir klar, was du getan hast?!"~

@10605 = ~Distract her so you can poison her drink: "What's that over there?"~

@10605 = ~Lenk sie ab, um ihren Drink vergiften zu können: "Was ist denn das dahinten?"~
=> According to similar german translations

SOUNDS.TRA
=> No german sounds for: @74/FFG122, @78/FFG104

@75=~"*Zerths* sind jene, die die Worte Zerthimons kennen. Sie beschützen die Gemeinschaften der Githzerai gegen alle Gefahren, die dem Körper oder dem Geist drohen."~ [DAK043]
=> German sound, yeah!

@76=~"Meister, wir sollten diesen Typ wirklich loswerden, bevor er sich noch an Sachen erinnert, die dein letztes Ich getan hat."~ [MRT475CA]
=> German sound, yeah!

@77=~"Beschwer dich bei den Göttern, Nordom."~ [MRT570B]
=> German sound, yeah!

=> Maybe unimportant: Annah's four "Back Stab!" sounds are in the German version all the same: "Ich will wieder mal einen Rücken löchern!" And entry @61916 ("Dak'kon Rare 4 1") has no german sound (DAK027B).

UB.TRA

@00021 = ~Erweiterte Wahrheit ueber Deionarras Schicksal~
=> Took from XPDeionarra.tra translation

@00022 = ~Wiederhergestellt: Begegnungen im Unteren Bezirk~

@00023 = ~FEDERKIEL
Gewicht: 0

Du hast diesen Federkiel in einem Schrank in deinem Zimmer der Festhalle gefunden. Er sieht ziemlich gewöhnlich aus.~
=> Took from XPDeionarra.tra translation

@00024 = ~Versiegelter Schrank~

@00025 = ~Wiederhergestellt: Bestiariumseintraege~

QTWEAK.TRA

@00023 = ~Maximierte "Staerke"-Zauber~

@00024 = ~Ausgeschaltete Minimalwerte für Statistiken (Attribute)~

@00025 = ~Schnellladen~

#475558 Version 4.0 of all 3 mods released!

Posted by HomiSite on 16 January 2010 - 01:02 PM in PS:T Fixpack

Thank you very much for your and scient's) efforts!!! As usual, I did the revision of the german translation some hours too late. I will post or send you my corrections tomorrow, maybe also with checks of the audiofiles.

#474376 Translations needed for version 4.0

Posted by HomiSite on 07 January 2010 - 05:40 AM in PS:T Fixpack

 Happy new year! I will take a short look into InTourette's nice translations during the next days. Combined power did work well with the last translations (usually when I was too lazy to work on ;)). If I recall correctly, you have to use DLTCEP for the sounds; the forum search seems down, so I can't link to a thread where we talked about that.

PS: The original german translation used old german spelling, so we used "ß" etc. in the mod translations.

#455466 Factions (something for you all to argue about while I work)

Posted by HomiSite on 09 July 2009 - 01:04 PM in PS:T Fixpack

Sounds reasonable. It's often a strange thing in Computer RPGs how some NPCs get instant notice about what you might have done at the other ond of the world :-). I am a bit confused after your three last posts: Do you need translations and if so, of what?
