Latest BWS needs a couple of ini files changed. Plus i tried to run the mod generator tool on a couple of mods. not yet included(Southern Edge and Skie - Cost of One Girl's Soul). Please let me know if I'm on the right path or not... BWSUpdates.7z 2.13K 197 downloads

I'll have a look into Git and see how things are done but for now @Alien I have a slight edit to 09_Install.au3 on line 954. changing ini to lua for the IWD 2.5 version.

If you ever do raise an admin I'd like to take a go at getting it EET ready. The tools provided by k4thos give a decent changelog and being BG1 area nothing major would need to be done.

I'd like to help alpha test - it'd be in an EET install which I'd try and use one of k4thos tools available(mod converter tool). Let me know what you think.

I did an install yesterday and I had to manually extract both aTweaks and RR using latest BWS commit. About to redo this due to SCS out of memory issues and will post my findings or start a new topic?

Hey Roxanne, I've tested the method you described and no luck on the SCS install(same error). My logic for the pause was to try and get around the out of memory issue.

RE CDTweaks error. If you have checked the read me file it'll tell you what you need to do. Just open the TXT file and make your selections.

Read a few lines down and if you want the romance cheats change the 0's to 1's. Save, reinstall and it should work.

Just did.

I kept Refinements in my list and have scrlzz handy to drop in once I get to SCS. I left RoT out and seem to get less out of memory errors with scs also.

subtledoctor... mate, had a few diff installs. Non Refinements and my spells weren't food. I'll play with this one as it's stable for an EET Megamod really.

Having problems with WeiDuFileChagelog extracting on an EET install. It constantly fails, tried downloading a new one when offered the prompt, tried extracting myself but no luck......After I extract it says it failed and exits the install.

Depending on what other mods you have installed it'll be in one of their backup folders. I just did a file search on my entire BG2 folder and found it in about 5 locations.

I tried to reach out to the Creator of a mod via the links they said best. Looks like they have dropped off the scene. So does that mean the mod can never be accepted by an EET install? I ran that tool k4thos provided and tinkered with mods not allowed by eet to install.

So if the version I'll be using(haven't reached BG2 yet) works, how do we get around the mod author being awol?

Some of the mod's updated have failed to install but rolling back to previous version has worked. (ISNF, The White Queen and Eilistraee's Song) (latest BWS/EET)
