Do I rename it to ar8000.are? Where do I drop it, just in override?
Thx.

Yes, put it in the override folder. If there is already one in there, make a copy of it for backup.

Well, after some days reinstalling everything again, it finally works, so probably it was a corrupt file. Anyway, thx again to everyone who offered help and advice.
One question about installing this huge monster: is there any compatibility problem when installing over a non-english version of BG I, TotSC, BGII and ToB (all of them in spanish)?
C u.

Yes, there will be a problem. The dialog file for BP is in English. So it doesn't totally matter what language you start with, you are going to play an English language game.

We are all open to someone willing to translate the game to other languages.

Well, I have no idea of how to translate this files, but I have a big knowledge of english (Cambridge Proficency degree) and I'm from Spain, so, if someone points me to any tutorial or alike, I'd be willing to give it a try.
Thx.

DLTCEP and NI are what we use to build mods. These allow you to add text strings to the dialog.tlk as well as modify the current text strings. Both will let you look at each string reference and the text assigned to them. It wouldn't be the cleanest way way to translate. I don't know of a tool that would allow you to port the TLK file to a Word document or any other editor. That would really be nice though!
