As always, I have been distracted for the last couple of days. I've been playing through Vlad's NEJ 2. I've managed to resolve the issues I've had with my second install and things are now moving smoothly there. I've also discovered that I can indeed use DLTCEP to create items and I have gone through and fleshed out the remaining items to go with Prince Rupert's Seal. If I ever get up the courage, I'd like to try and develop a joinable NPC.

In my BP-BGT-NEJ install, I have cleared out the Nashkel Mines and the surrounding maps. The next step will be to pick up Minsc and go rescue Dynaheir. At this point, I don't want her in the party, but I like wading through the Xvarts and Gnolls.

Believe it or not, I'm still in the process of trying to download the Dsotsc 1.2 files. The Wizard's site is moving at a snails pace. Less than 4 kb/s. I tried sending an e-mail to him, inquiring about the site, but the e-mail was returned as undeliverable.

Yesterday was interesting. Spent a good portion of the day trying to get a multiplayer going with my son and a friend using our home network. Most of the day resembled a demolition derby. One crash after another. Three supposedly identical installs and they cannot interoperate. The only major difference between the three would the addition of Bone Hill on my machine. Oh well.

On my own file, I'm still having persistent CTD issues on the Drizz't screen. Doesn't appear to be any single cause, but I'm having to Quicksave at least six times during my initial run through of the screen. Normally I can count on at least two crashes. I also noticed another glitch, which I'm assuming is self inflicted, my dialog for having a character leave the party is faulty. The dropped party member doesn't ever come and talk to the pc and if you go and talk to them, the rejoin party option never appears.

I really need to make suire I'm logged in. Next big question. How do you create a registry entry for BGII? I cannot install because I have a broken disk (BGII #3 is no more :crying: ) The entire install procedure seesm to revolve around the various elements of the BP installer finding a registered version of BGII. Makes life a little frustrating.
