If I have the following: TDD weiduv1.10, Ascension-WeiDU-v1.4.21, ImprovedAnvil, LongerRoad_v1.5.1, Redemption-v1.2, Weimer-ItemUpgrade-v34, Weimer-SolaufeinMod-v102 and BG2_Tweaks-v3, in what order should I install them? (I have Throne of Ball installed)

There's a newer version of TDD, v1.11: http://america.iegmc.net/tdd-weidu/

1.10 is not compatible with Worldmap v6, which I think you will also need to install.

That thread is too complicated for someone who's obviously new to mega-installing. Plus, s/he doesn't actually want a megainstall.

Also pro5 spotted that Longer Road and Redemption are NOT compatiable. Don't know if that has changed.

I suggest this install order:

Classic Bladurdash or BD-WeiDU - your choice
TDD
Ascension
Redemption OR Longer Road
Item Upgrade
Solaufein
ImprovedAnvil - which I know nothing about
G3 BG2 Tweaks
Worldmap v6

are you sure that longer road and redemption are not compatible even if they are both weidu? In the redemption mod home page it says the following IF YOU LIKED THE REDEMPTION MOD PLEASE VISIT THE LONGER ROAD MOD WEBSITE AND DOWNLOAD THE MOD THAT ALLOWS YOU TO PLAY WITH JON IRENICUS AS A FULL TIME NPC FOR THE ENTIRE THRONE OF BHAAL EXPANSION - GET TO REDEEM OR FURTHER CORRUPT IRENICUS THROUGH A SERIES OF CONVERSATIONS AND EXCITING NEW QUEST, NEW NPC BANTERS, PORTRAITS AND ITEMS. But I donīt know if they mean I have to uninstall Redemption first.

Redemption allows you to (suprise) redeem Irenicus in the ending of Ascension.

If you install Longer Road, then Irenicus will be in your party by the time you arrive there. Maybe you CAN install them both, but it will at least look weird to have two versions of Irenicus in one game.

LR readme also says this:
WARNING -- LR MOD IS *NOT COMPATIBLE* WITH REDEMPTION MOD BY THE SAME AUTHOR!!!
How much clearer can it get?

If you wanna install BP, you should install Baldurdash-WeiDU. Classic Baldurdash would occur errors on installing BP.

I would like to know, if this order results in bug free version of baldur's gate, in other words, if the author really tested it, and played the whole game from candlekeep to the final.

When I last tried the Big picture installation with several mods attachted, I got lot of erros, I had to skip few game phazes using console, becouse it was bugged, and was not really enjoable.

I would like to know, if this order results in bug free version of baldur's gate, in other words, if the author really tested it, and played the whole game from candlekeep to the final.

Consider these:
  • This installation order you refer to is greater than 12 months old;
  • Installation of a group of mods dramatically compounds the probability of error, often due to mod incompatibility; and
  • There is an entire forum aimed at helping people with problems installing and playing various mod combinations (http://www.shsforums...p?showforum=193), and in there are numerous discussions about bugs.
So, bug-free? No. Author really tested it? There are multiple authors for the combination of mods. Played from A to Z? You would have to ask the person who installed that combination yourself.

But really, you should be looking at more up-to-date information.

i use this old topic because i need the same thing even if with different mods.
SoS is giving me some problems.
i installed it as first mod but i noticed that i couldn't install any other one so i disinstalled it.
Then i installed:
Fixpack
Unfinished Buisiness
Check the body
Quest Pack
Tweak pack
Then i tried to install SoS again but i saw that there were some problems with Tweak pack
So i disinstalled TP ad reinstalled SoS------>Ok but not i can't reinstall Tweak Pack and i need it.

There are 3 more mods i want to install and they don't work in any case (i mean after Quest pack installation)
They are 3 NPC mods
Tashia
Fade
Hubelpot

And theinvoker'll need the world map mod + the Consolidated Patch. Install it after, the above mentioned order.

Ignore that. For whatever reason, setup-fade.exe didn't autoupdate (and for once, it wasn't my fault either, since Fade uses W182)
