although the version of the game (shadows of amn and throne of baal) I have is in spanish, is it okay if I install the mods or the patches in english? I understand well both languages, but does anyone know whether the translations made for the mods are good? thanks in advance

If you're a Spanish-speaker/reader, you definitely want to check out the site ClanDLAN. I'm sure that the players and modders there can give you plenty of opinions and suggestions.
