Or maybe extend the challenges to "just Forgotten Realms" to "all Infinity Engine games".

A couple of ideas: how about your party after weeks of traveling through wilderness or dungeons? "Ooh, you smell..."

Or, if your character is a mage, then draw his/her familiar.

I giggle like mad whenever I picture a Fat Man (mini nuke launcher from Fallout 3) in the hands of my Bhaalspawn rogue... So I'm thinking something like a "If your PC could borrow anything (ability, weapon, underwear, whatever) from another game/fandom/etc, it would be..." type of deal. Then again, maybe it's only funny in my own head.

Well, I prefer traditional pure Baldur's Gate challanges like... hm.... NAKED DRYADZ! or NPC related.

Erm...as for ideas? Hm. Well it may not be an IE game, but considering it DOES have its own mod section and discussion boards here, what about some Oblivion-themed challenges?

Or, if we're staying with BG--Non-joinable NPC's. Interesting depictions of BG's lesser-known characters. Give them the spotlight for once. Minor characters, yup. I'm sure we've all at one point maybe wanted to draw...Maple Willow Aspen, for example. Or maybe Portalbendarwinden (as our PC threatens to shove a blunt object roughly the size of Elminster AND his hat you know where). Or, like, Raelis Shai.

The more prominent non-joinable NPC's could have their own separate topics. Some characters that haven't been done yet that might work are Ellesime (so fun to make fun of!), the Spectator (admit it, you all love him to pieces), Winthrop, Tazok, and many more I can't bother to remember right now.

We could also have more place challenges.

Or, since there are more participants now than when this thing started, you could reuse previous challenges that no one ended up drawing for. We might have better luck with those now.

Quiet moments--what do characters do when they're relaxing?
An opposite version of a character--evil Keldorn, nice Viconia, etc.
There already was a Drama challenge, but what about Comedy/Tragedy?
In no particular order: mistakes, deities, the Five, "firsts," monsters.

I wouldn't mind putting challenges tied to other games. The thing is I've only played BG, NWN and Jade Empire, (I've never finished Morrowind & Oblivion, too tedious) and choosing an interesting challenge from games other than those would be a problem for me - unless the majority of you lined all the interesting and juicy possibilities to draw.

I'll admit that finding new challenges from BG alone is getting difficult. I don't know how well Dragon Age would go since plenty of people seem to be playing it now

Even if I love Dragon Age, I'd suggest to keep it out fromt he challege for at least two years. Those who are playing it now or those who plan to play it as soon as it reaches the bargain bin would hate to be flooded by spoilers ;-)

Considering the low number of artists currently entering the Challenge, and my frequent vanishings, I think there will be a break with it for a while.

But the input in ideas is welcome
