Just a little problem I had with SG

Hello Zyraen,

I just found myself in Spellhold today and it struck me strange that it looked as if the SPG was not installed at all. The sequence with the thieves being killed went as usual, as well as the dream, but these are ok, as I have not installed that component. However, in the Imoen area, no apparition showed up. Do you know what is causing this?

Zy here :

from the looks of it it is as if you simply did not install the Mod at all ^^;; you sure you have it installed?
If you want to check that it is installed, use
CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Z#Gaunt")

If the Mod is not installed, nothing will come out.
If the Mod is installed, the apparition will show up and you can talk to him so that you can get to the Gauntlet.

Well, I had been thinking along the same lines myself, so I tried to reinstall even yesterday, but it asked me whether I wanted to Reinstall and Uninstall, so I gathered that it had been installed before. Can it be that the installer works funny if I only install parts of the mod?

On a different note-after I found it was OK, I looked through the directory and found the creature to CLUA, and after I did, it immediately showed some sort of shadow door animation and disappeared. On the second CLUAing, I targeted it to talk to it, and it stayed. After the conversation, everything went pretty smoothly and I was happily harvesting tokens, repeatedly reloading and dying ;) It is satisfactorily challenging even for my overpowered PC (and also slightly overpowered Kiyone), but not to the point of being impossible, so I commend you for that. Ther is a minor thing about the Bone club+2 - if I go to the riddles, I have a chance to get it for the second time, but I believe that you already had that in mind ;) Also funny was that as the apparition originally did not show up, I first went and took the bag of holding in the first golem room of the spellhold maze, and when I received the one from the gauntlet, I found out that they are the same and had a lot of fun that way ;)
Oh, also, my chaosed characters and berserked enemies sometimes attacked the invisible creratures in the gauntlet area.
The second but last question was whether you were thinking of adding voicing?
And the last one is that it was a great idea and I like the mod very much ;)

I think you spent too long in the main room, causing the timer to expire and the apparition to leave. The apparition remains for only 20 odd seconds or so. If you have the time to go and get the Bag of Holding or the Ring of Regeneration, there's almost no way the Apparition would still be there. Of course by CLUAConsole-ing you can work around that.

Oh, that might be the case! It is true that the first time round, my game CTDd (probably completely unrelated issue) and i might not have noticed the apparition in time on the second run. Could it be better if the apparition initiated the dialogue with the player itself? That would even mean that the player would not (even without realising it like me) collect any items twice ;)

Ok. I think I'll use a DisplayStringHead to alert the player.
As for voicing.. until volunteers show up, so far nada.
