Are the individual dialogue file resources named the same in BGT as they are in BG1?

In other words, if Durlyle's dialogue file is DURLYLE1.dlg in vanilla ToSC (and it is), is it also DURLYLE.dlg in BGT?

Any notable exceptions?

Generally yes, with the exception of several dialogue files which exist both in BG1 or BG2 (or who collide with some other mod)

I think Ascension provided some handy files who document all the changes - I think in the help directory - I am not on my own computer right now so I can't give you the exact file ref or forward it to you.

Thank you, Thauron, for not telling me what a complete and utter idiot I am. I am sitting here, staring at the name of the forum, BGT-WeiDU, comletely forgetting how WeiDU works.

Had I actually taken a moment to think about it, I would have realized that by simply downloading BGT and unpacking it, I would have a complete file list of all game files sitting there waiting for me, all uncompiled and readable with nothing more than a text editor. Does it get any easier than that? Unlikely.

Anyway, thank you for getting me pointed in the right direction. Had the "readme" link not been broken on the downloads page, I wouldn't have needed to download the mod to look for it, and I wouldn't have had that lovely resource sitting there waiting to be plundered.

If it helps any, berelinde, I did/had the same thing - and bugged Sir BillyBob, Chevalier, pro5, and Ascension64 with inane questions before I realized I was not using the tools available... luckily these guys are as reasonably calm about fellow moddrs not RTFM as we are :D

It can help when you download the mod. In the BGT\Help\DevDoc directory, the index.htm contains the Developer's Documentation that one of the sections details the changes in ResRefs that are made to the original BG1 resources, e.g. BGGORF.CRE, etc.
