I really like the atmosphere and details on the Bleeding Steppe. Best battlefield I have ever seen!

This is something I will definately have to keep an eye on.

Snip

right. sorry. i kind of forget about things once in a while.
like a locked my older brother in the closet and forgot to unlock it. :P ( i wish i actually did that)

it should be automatic. memory is a really stupid part of the brain. i decided to throw it out.

however i continue to say that i am very impressed!

I really want a widescreen (1440x900) overview background image of the Burning Steppe now. :(

I'm really trying to refrain from cursing while I'm here but... HOLY SHIT :woot: I had seen these before at your other board but they're sill unbe-fucking-leavably amazing!

That last shot is surreal.... it doesn't even look like Oblivion...

@ SeV - That sounded like something I would say, damnit.

Really though, these look REALLY good. I'm getting a real LOTR vibe from that city (and it is a good vibe!!) and would love to be the "lord/king/count" of it.

Which city? The burning city of Thanis or the Kingdom of Durhardt? None of the set are 100% complete yet btw. There is a lot I want to do with the burning city of Thanis yet as well as the haunted forest.

how long did it take you to set all of this up? is the city created completely from scratch, or is it taken from some other city?

I want to have your babies.

Really these are very inspiring, well thought out and well executed. I'd love to help out with this project if I could (however I'm not sure if I would be any help other than a cheerleader ;)).

You guys should be sure to head on over to the rangersguild.com forums and get more specific info on the project.

@ Sev,

Each set has probably taken me about a week on and off each. I just started playing with the CS in December and have been designing sets off and on since then. All sets are made from individual components. None are used from any cities or towns or castles or anything like that. :)

Behold! My project's animated logo splash! This is far from the final version btw. Nevertheless, enjoy!

That splash somehow reminds me of NWN/2. Did you happen to use the same font? I can't remember exactly what it looks like.

Anyway, keep up the good work!

PS: Please give me a widescreen shots of the battlefield. :(

You will have to wait for wallpapers and other new content until my project's site goes live in a couple weeks. Check out rangersgild.com on May 27th. As for the font, it is the Dark Crystal font. Not sure what else it is used in besides the Dark Crystal movie.

The region of my world where my machinima's story arc takes place...as always constructive criticism is appreciated! This is the 99% final version...

Btw, the actual res is 2600x1800 roughly, so don't worry if you can't see the small details or can't read some of the smaller text.
