Just a note on this - Elrond and Elros being available is definitely 100% not canon, since they would only be about 3-6 years old at the time of the events written here.

That being said, Elrond it seems, from quite a few sources, will most certainly have access to some Cleric spells ; not to worry about his Stat-line, it will be tweaked according to how he turns out, as will Elros' Class and Stats

So just to "poll" you guys, should Elrond be...

1) Fighter / Cleric
2) Fighter / Druid
3) Cleric / Mage
4) something else?

I would make him a fighter/cleric. He does lead armies, and fight well, at that, to survive all of those wars. His healing magic I think would be minor, but still: Fighter/Cleric seems best.

If it is possible, you might think of Elrond as a tri class. He is definetly a fighter, but he is also well versed in the ways of Elven mage craft. He is also one of the most powerful healers in all Middle-Earth. I would, if it were possible, bill him as a Ftr-Mage-Cleric, But if that is not a possibility then settle on the Cleric Mage. Reason: The magical power needed to protect his home, and his healing powers. Though we could argue for a couple of years over this. Some would claim that the power to protect Imladris was clerical in nature. This, on it`s own would not be capable of protecting the home of Elrond. Only through a blending of Magical spells of high magnitude, and clerical magics could this be done. The Cleric part is obvious due to the fact that he has the massive healing reputation.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for they are quick to anger and you are good to eat.

Imho we can't compare D&D and Middle Earth as worlds and try to implement the DD rules so literary to ME; for me all signs on heaven and earth seem to hint that Elrond would be a single class druid (some control over the nature and elements, healing powers, not a bad fighter though not specialised in combat) in any other world than ME, but it is only my opinion.
