You re-installed from scratch. It doesn't make sense to claim that you need Fixpack before BGT when you overhauled the entire installation. If the cutscene isn't working on vanilla BGT v1.05b, then something is wrong and I am inclined to fix the problem rather than refer users to installing BG2 Fixpack when it shouldn't be necessary.

Can I ask where you downloaded BGT from? Also, can you attach your vanilla BG2 version of AR0602.BCS?

As Ascension64 already stated, this is/was not fixpack related. And you can surely trust the author, if he says that BG2-Fixpack is not required.
Your previous install was clearly broken in some way. If you take a look at your ar0602.bcs (decompiled), I'm sure it will look different now.

Hello Ascension64,

thanks for your information. That is good to know.
One can also install BGT with or without BG2 Fixpack.

Do you know of any problems if one installs all the components of the BG2 Fixpack or are they all compatible with BGT?
I mean, recommend you only the core fixes or all components if one want to install the BG2 Fixpack?

Greetings Leomar

The forever changing nature of BG2 Fixpack stuff makes it hard for me to keep track of all the components. BGT-WeiDU has some specific compatibility implemented for BG2 Fixpack, so if new incompatibilities pop up, let me know and I'll get angry at the Fixpack people. :)

I understand you complety.
Are the "core fixes" of the BG2 Fixpack save for a BGT installation?

Greetings Leomar

Really, they should all be safe (until proven otherwise). :)
