I'm not sure any of these are done, but I've gotten to the point where I'm not sure what needs to be fixed/changed/added/removed/done.  So I figured I'd ask for advice!  I'm extremely new at portrait making, so any tips on technique are appreciated.  These are all made off of photos.

1st one - imo too saturated and there should be a shadow on the forehead (because of the hood)
2nd one - the eyebrows look unnatural and so do her eyes, maybe making them a bit darker would help?
3rd one - the best one, I really like it. The only suggestion is adding some highlights to her hair, the face and armor suggest a strong source of light in front of her and a weaker one near her jaw.

Apart from my whining, these are very good for your first attempts. Good luck! :)

Third one looks pretty good.

With a little less frosting on the eyebrows, Michelle Pfeiffer makes a lovely drow. The others are also great, says this non-artist.
I did battle with monsters, and they became me, and when I gazed into the abyss, the abyss looked away shyly.

Agh, it is the eyebrows!  I was trying to figure out what was annoying me...anyway, I'll fidget more with all three.  Any more advice is still welcome, of course.

Okay, here are the drow (yes, Michelle Pfeiffer) and the cloaked guy redone, as well as a third I've been playing with.  I got a tablet today, which made this much easier!

Drow's brows are better, eyes are still a bit bright.
Think the second's a bit dark overall. No big deal, just, won't fit as well ni with the rest of the BG portraits.
Third one needs color, saturation. He's grey.

Michelle the Drow can join my party. Nice!

And his neck should be cut in half, literally.

Yeah, the neck is ridiculously thick, but it was actually that thick in the picture I started with...which is kind of creepy thinking about it.  It also looks kind of bumpy along the edges, which I hadn't noticed before...
