hello, k maybe im an idiot but i downloaded the beregost fixer and followed the instructions unzipped the folder, double clicked the jar file and it just keeps opening the file to winzip and from there i am stuck big time if i click on any of the class files it generated i get nothing I am completely lost on this issue help please.

1b. If double clicking does not work, run the program by command-line using "java -jar BeregostCrashFixer.jar"

Hey there okay by command line i am assuming you mean from the start button then the run command. I tried it numerous times with the tips and things you gave me in the beregost fix thread but still no help. this is what i'm putting in my command line C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_07\bin C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\BeregostCrashFixer.jar i get a message saying windows cannot find 'C:\Program'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again. blah blah. those are the exact file names and the exact path am i doing it wrong somehow? Sorry

Put quotes around your command + argument and add 'java' after \bin.
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_07\bin\java.exe" "C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\BeregostCrashFixer.jar"

Hello again, K this time i got the command to work and i got a little black box that opened up really quick so quick i couldn't read anything, like a dos box or something like that. then nothing happens, am i missing something else here. I followed all the instructions precisly and still no figuring this out. I got the right java, first time i installed it so thats not the issue I am using the BGT program if that makes a difference.

Type cmd in the Run box, hit return and repeat the command from above.

Hello I tried the cmd thing and it now shows the black box but when i redo the command all i get is the box comes up again really quick and disappears the box from the cmd command is still there though. This is really frustrating I can't seem to get this to work, I am feeling stupid and I hate bugging you guys to get this fixed, but I am at a loss. help please
