
"BG1 PCs in BG2"

I've been playing with this great mod and I have questions.
I've finished BG2 a bunch of times, and I know for that sure characters like Tiax, Faldorn, Ajantis etc become non playable characters in BG2, while they could be played in BG1.
Using the CLUAConsole in the mod, I've been summoning those BG1 characters in the Irenicus dungeon, but only tiax has his original dialog (he talks to me like we're in front of the flame fist building) that fires and I can make him join the party. I successfully summoned Kagain, Khalid, and others, but they have no dialog and all I get from them is: "[insert name here] has nothing to say to you"
Is there a way to get the BG1 dialogs to fire? Why does it only work with Tiax? I'd like Kagain to ask me to find his convoy so he joins my party, so I could use "CLUAConsole, SetGlobal" and make him a permanent member of my party.

All the other BG1 PCs summoned to far have nothing to say to me =(

That's "BG1 NPCs in BG2", and by the way, if you install the BGT Tweakpack, you get to see most of the NPCs, and they will join you, you just have to find them first.

I am just curious to why BG1 tiax's dialog fires while kagain's does not, kagain is never met in baldur's gate 2 (I don't remember ever meeting him), and so I thought there'd be no problem if I consoled him into BG2 and hired him, just as if we were in BG 1.
So I guess I need mods to get those npcs... thanks for the links!

And the Consoled NPCs might not have their dialogs assigned to them, so they might not talk, even if they would have something to say.
