#48 Challenge: Mazzy

For today's challenge we have the headstrong halfling who desires nothing more then to become a paladin. She can be pushy and tiring but also not to bad to have around once you get to know her - unless you fall into the stab-the-halfling category

You remember the drill I hope. You have two weeks time, and everything artistic goes as long as it's made by yourself.

Now, I came up with some pictures.

Here's Mazzy done with colour pencils. Despite I never can get her haircut looking good, I liked how her face turned. Until I got striken by the resemblance of it to crossing of Son Goku and Sonic, but maybe it's only me...



And here old sketch I made back in the summer holidays. Since there is our halfling wannabe paladin, I thougt I might put it here as well.Mazzy talking about something with Darian. It's a mod NPC being in progress here on SHS. It's not going to be released very soon, as I see, anyways. But here it is.

Hehe, I've actually taken Mazzy along, and the idea had occurred to me, but rest assured that she does appear drow for all intents and purposes (height included). That makes one wonder, though: since she's used to seeing everything from a height of three feet, doesn't being a couple of feet taller change her whole perspective on things? wouldn't it even alter her fighting style, because she'd have all this new gait to get used to? Hmmm...

Thank you I've played with Mazzy too, and exactly the same questions occured to me. Does she only appear taller, or does she become taller, and what then? How does it really work? Funny how no-one does any remarks about that, not even Jan. One of the (countless) things I love about Kivan mod - he's actually horrified about the illusion stuff. Glad you like it!

Nice one! I will have to take Mazzy on my next runthrough (thanks to the new friendship!). I've finished SoA with her, but never ToB, so it's about time.

Xan also hates the drow transformation as well.

Nice worl, JAMoczo and Cykuta! Erm...although the drow one makes me feel kind of stupid...I can't tell who anyone is except Mazzy! Then again, maybe it's just cause I'm not used to seeing everyone as drows. But still, is very funny and well-drawn
I've decided that I want to make a realistic picture for this challenge, and then turn it into an alternate portrait for mazzy in-game. Here's my preliminary sketch.

Obviously the final product is going to be cropped and scaled down quite a bit. Although once I color it I'll include a larger version like this one as well.
