Edwin became Edwina using the nether scroll but now every time I try to rest there is a crash to desktop. I am sure that he/she is causing the problem because it appeared exactly after he transformed, and once I remove him from the party I can rest normally. I suspect that maybe this is caused by a conversation with him/her that should start before resting but something doesn't initialize properly. Can someone please help me solve this problem because I wouldn't like to lose Edwin, he is an essential in my party. Here is my weidu log:

Are you romancing Edwin? I didn't encounter this problem while romancing Edwin, but I faced it when I was playing with a male PC. I avoided it by not resting outdoors - resting only in inns or dungeons doesn't cause a crash.

I have a male PC but I have a romance with Viconia. And the option to rest only indoors doesn't sound so attractive to me. So this is a old unsolved problem?

It has happened each time I took Edwin along with a male PC. I believe the problem cures itself after Edwina changes back into a man... only to resurface in ToB.

That doesn't sound so good :( . Is there no way to permanently solve this? I encountered bugs that were more vague than this, without knowing the cause at first, but were solved, and this one in which we know that Edwin in the female form causes a crash on rest, which most likely is a conversation or a encounter that doesn't initialize like it should, can't be fixed? :(

dreamer2007, have you uninstalled the BG2 Tweaks component, too and is the CTD gone?

[EDIT]

I've read in the other topic that you don't want to test it, because you could destroy your whole installation. Understandable. Can you backup your save game, so if you have finished with your megamod, you can try it with this save then?

Greetings Leomar

A Megamod does not mean that you can play all of the mods or all of their content,
but you have more choices or paths through the game.

I made a backup of the whole game and went ahead with the test :) . The problem is that in my case the CTD still remained even after I removed the More interjections component :( .

Thanks for your test. :)
So the problem is not the "More interjections" component and is caused by something else...

larkforsure, can you post your WeiDU.log?

It looks like that "Edwin Romance" is not causing this.
