Seem to have broken the romance (or the mod) somehow

Update: I've returned from the Underdark, and it's still happening just like before. Is there really nothing I can do?

I'm not sure what I've done to cause it, but now Nathaniel "has nothing to say to me" and no more random flirts or whatever. He hasn't been turned to stone or imprisoned or anything else I've heard of breaking romances. I haven't said anything to upset him, installed any mods lately, or done anything else I can think of. I've tried selecting him and pressing k. I'm in chapter two doing the various stronghold quests and was at the point in the romance where you could first sleep together (or as I chose, slept next to him) - there was also that option when choosing to talk to him, but I either hadn't tried it yet, or picked it and said I wasn't ready (can't remember if I loaded my game after that).

The only thing I can think of that's happened lately is Aerie suddenly had a dialogue with me about the sun setting. Since I don't have a multiple romance mod installed and she's been in my party as long as him without doing that, I can only think that the romance with Nathaniel broke BEFORE that, causing her to try to romance me.

Are there any console commands or anything else I can try? I just realized I've stupidly saved in all my slots since this happened, thinking everything was OK (everything else was).

Check your NathRomanceActive variable. If it's at 2 then all is well. Don't worry, you haven't done anything wrong. The romance isn't broken, it's just a bug in the mod that causes the flirts to stall at this point. Everything will resume fine after you emerge from the Underdark. You won't miss out on any dialogue or interjections in the meantime, just the random flirting and player-initiated lines.

Aerie mooning over the setting sun always seems to come up at the most inappropriate times :P Have no fear, she isn't hitting on you ;)

It is 2, and she IS overdramatic - Thank you SO much. Now I can rest easy. Even if Nathaniel has to wait a lot longer than he wanted to sleep with the PC.

Two things I noticed just after my first post: The advance real time command makes Nathaniel turn and look at the PC, and he still calls me "my love" if I try to kick him out (not that I did). Both of those things were making me think I'd broken something serious in the game. Especially since a couple of my party members' quests never triggered (probably from either kicking them out beforehand, or using the level 1 NPC mod to change their classes) and I thought whatever it was was worsening.

How far you have played after the Underdark?

Greetings Leomar
A Megamod does not mean that you can play all of the mods or all of their content,
but you have more choices or paths through the game.

As Leo said, which point are you at? If you haven't yet, keep going and fight Bodhi. That will move the story along and change the circumstances somewhat.

Wow, you're fast. I didn't want to keep playing if I'd have to go back to an earlier saved game to fix something. Thank you both.

I'm having the same problem, only I'm much earlier in the game, only just about to speak to Aran Linvail. Any way to fix the problem?
