Hi @ all!
Today I was trying to travel to the Bandit Camp, but it crashes to desktop as soon as it displays the loading screen, without giving errors.
I already did a bit of search on my own but couldn't find what's causing this. In particular, I tried to skip the movie and quite some blocks of the .bcs files by editing the variables using CLUAConsole, the ones I didn't skip were the SCSI ones (already did the Bandit Camp with the very same version), the one setting a global variable and the two blocks of the Stone of Askavar mod (which activates/deactivates an area trigger and nothing more).
Did a changelog both on the .are and the .bcs files, and attached a .rar here along with my weidu.log.
What could be causing the crash? Also, I spent the same time playing and debugging with this installation: would you suggest to reinstall, avoiding to install the bugged mods, or the game should run properly (apart from minor bugs, which I don't mind - I just don't want to have to debug to not make the game crash)?

Thanks in advance! :)

~SETUP-DARKHORIZONS.TP2~ #0 #0 // "Dark Horizons" Mod (Requires Tales of the Sword Coast)
~SETUP-DARKHORIZONS.TP2~ #0 #1 // Harder Enemies
It could be that DH with "Harder Enemies" together is the culprit and that you will get more problems with it. So yes, I recommend a new installation with the new Dark Horizons v1.02.

What is this?
00004: ~RANDOMISER/RANDOMISER.TP2~ 0 1100 // Randomise with in-game scripts. No items are lost

Thanks, will reinstall then. :)
That's Wisp's new mod, it randomizes vanilla items in BG1 & BG2 (if used on a BG:T install). The version I'm using is a pre-release, but I think Wisp's going to release it soon. It had a topic on the BioWare boards, now I have little time but will PM you the link as soon as I'm not in a hurry and find it. :)

Solaufein claims that he played DH and didn't experience any Bandit Camp crash. It could be a BGT version only bug, but he might have his reasons here since I tried to spawn the named creatures displayed as actors in the camp and had no problems at all (didn't try the unnamed ones, and unfortunately I already deleted the faulty install folder). Also, I tried to skip DH's script blocks as I said, but it didn't change anything, so the problem might be in the area itself. Could it be a Stone of Askavar problem?
Anyway, as soon as I'll reinstall the whole thing, I will try to CLUAConsole the party in the Bandit Camp area and check if it works right.
All of the above must be considered totally IMHO.

My game too is crashing in the Bandit Camp, Raemon & Co appears as soon as I enter the area, whether I've gone with the bandits or made it there on my own, give their "stop messing with the Iron Throne" speech, and as the fight starts it just freeze.

The freeze occurs as soon as the wizard, Venkt, starts casting. By Ctrl+Y'ing him, I can continue :)

Sorry for reporting in the wrong topic :)

Do what's written here and do a search for Venkt instead of Tasloi

Then create changelogs for the .cre file that appears by reading this.

Attach the log(s) :D

Cheers,
Lol
