Is there any reason, other than a bug, that I can't kill Tazok?
I can hammer him indefinitely, but it just stays on "Tazok near death"
If this is a bug, is there a console command that would allow me to kill him?
Edit: I enabled the cheat keys & pressed CTRL + Y, it did thousands of hit points, but it didn't kill him.
If I just nick off to Cloakwood Lodge & leave Tazok alive, will it stop me progressing later in the game?

Thats weird. Tazok is never in his tent. Either you kill him outside camp, or he vanishes after talking to you.

Post your weidu log. Maybe that will clear things up.

The original fight with him to see how tough I am, because I asked to join his mercenary's, never finished.
So I just ignored him & went about killing the others. He followed us into the tent.
His weapon is useless, so he doesn't do any damage.

That might be it. Perhaps his speech is area-script dependant, and he couldn't do it inside the tent. I have no clue as to WHY his weapon would be useless, nor why he doesn't go away when dealt enough damage, though. I know nothing of BGT, maybe someone else can help.

In the original BG1 you could kill him ( and he'd still show up in the final fight ).
I found this this to be impossible in Easytutu, but I guess thats logical enough.
