Regain Bhaalpowers in ToB disappear after loading save

Hi all,

I am not sure if anyone has reporsted this. To cut long story short, after I have installed the 'Regain Bhaalpowers in ToB' component, I decided to test it out, since I haven't gotten to the point where I can make a transition to tob, I made a new CHARNAME. I regained all the bhaalspawn powers no problem, however the problem arised when I saved the game and reload the save, all my regained bhaal powers just disappeared. :blink:

And no matter how many times I have rested, those bhaalpowers were gone for good. Any replay or explanation is appreciated.

Well, puke. BioWare laid booby traps. It should be fixed in version 3.42, at the expense of the happy "dings" and the text notifications. You can safely upgrade.

Yes, you can uninstall aTweaks, upgrade and reinstall safely, without needing to start a new game.
You can probably also just extract v3.42 on top of your old aTweaks folder (without uninstalling anything), start the installer and choose to [R]einstall just the "Regain Bhaalpowers" component, but maybe you don't want to try that unless you're comfortable around computers and this applying mods business.

And what is this happy 'dings' and 'text notifications' you mentioned? Sorry, I am still new to all these mods.

Shortly after you started ToB you'd hear 6 dings (like when you level up) in rapid succession and see 6 messages about gaining special abilities. This doesn't happen in 3.42, and it's probably just as well.
