I completed the Mourns-for-trees quest with just myself, Dak'kon, and Morte caring about the trees, so I never got to see the dialog from the other characters; since that was just about the first thing I did in the Hive and I did everything else there before going to the catacombs, I don't really have a suitable save to go back to to try to get those dialogs unless I replay quite a bit of the game. While I'm sure there's other dialogue I missed on my playthrough, since I did just about everything I imagine most of the rest would relate to an evil/chaotic character. Anybody willing to share what everybody says when you ask them about the trees?

Including only the succesful paths without the interjections of other NPCs:

Annah:

"I wanted to ask Annah to help you."
"What? Yeh can't be serious, now!"
"I am, Annah. I'd be grateful if you could just see to give them a fair thought or two... as a favor to me, if for no other reason."
Her smirk at last gives way to a smile. "Ah, ta Baator with it! If yeh're so soddin' caught up in it all, why not? Sure, I'll 'care' about yer trees, cutter. But yeh owe me for me time, yeh do!"

Fall-From-Grace:

"I wanted to ask Fall-From-Grace to help you."
Grace nods. "Certainly. I think that is an excellent idea."

Nordom:

"I wanted to ask Nordom to help you."
"Define: Aid, required."
"Nordom: Desire for all trees in the 'Hive' ward of Sigil to become healthy and grow."
"The command is understood. The parameters are acceptable. What purpose will the said desire serve."
"The Hive is a place of Chaos and decay. There is a good chance the presence of the invigorated trees will bring a sense of order to the place."
"Said desire will begin immediately."

Vhailor:

"I wanted to ask Vhailor to help you."
Vhailor stands silent and unmoving; were it not for the flickering red lights of his eyes, he would seem but a statue.
"...Vhailor? Did you hear me?"
Vhailor's voice finally echoes forth from his empty helm: *The state of the tree is irrelevant to me. Its death is neither just nor unjust -- it simply is.*

Ignus:

"I wanted to ask Ignus to help you."
Ignus slowly turns to meet your gaze. *"Yesss?"*
"See these trees, Ignus? Do you think you could find it in your heart to *care* for them?"
Ignus turns to the trees, the air around him becoming uncomfortably hot in seconds. *"Yesss... burnnnn..."*
Mourns-For-Trees stares on in horror as he realizes what is about to occur. Suddenly, he leaps into action, thrusting himself between Ignus and the trees: "No! Stop! You can't!"
Ignus laughs horribly; gouts of flame erupt from his throat. *"You ssstand between me and thing that burnsss? Youuu, tooo, will burnnnn..."*

After that Ignus attacks regardless of what you do.

The one for Nordom deserves to have Morte's comment included (if he's in the party):

NO: "I wanted to ask Nordom to help you."
Nordom: "Define: Aid, required."
NO: "Nordom: Desire for all trees in the 'Hive' ward of Sigil to become healthy and grow."
Nordom: "The command is understood. The parameters are acceptable. What purpose will the said desire serve."
NO: "The Hive is a place of Chaos and decay. There is a good chance the presence of the invigorated trees will bring a sense of order to the place."
Nordom: "Said desire will begin immediately."
Morte: "You know, chief, I've seen some weird stuff... but it boggles my mind that that was even *possible*."

Also one for Ignus if you aren't evil is funny:

NO: "I wanted to ask Ignus to help you."
Ignus slowly turns to meet your gaze. "Yesss?"
NO: "Nothing; I don't know what I was thinking."
