Greetings ..

I apologize if this posted on the incorrect board.

Recently I tried out the Redemption addition to the Ascension mod. The mod is
a bit obvious but overall well done and written. There are two things however
after trying it out that raised a few question marks.

Judging from the screenshot on the Redemption page the demon prince
Demogorgon is either supposed to or can make an appearance. My question
is, does anybody know what the "triggering factors" for lack of a better term
are. I noticed that despite several attempts Demogorgon does not appear in
my games. Regardless of party-/alignment-/or reputation modification.

The second thing I noticed is a flaw. Or at least something that does not work
quite correct. Redemption causes the game to "hang" itself during "epilogues"
for the different characters (after having made the choice).

After searching around a bit in the Dialogue file I came to the conclusion it was
probably the intention to create an "epilogue" for Irene however the only thing
I see is a grayed out picture of the bottom right platform of the Throne of Bhaal
afterwards the game 'hangs' as in 'freezes'. The next epilogue does not run.

Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong? I have attempted to remove
Redemption and installing it again as well as all the usual solutions that I know
of but it keeps running the same problem.

Thank you for your time.

I've moved this to the correct board so have no fear there.

In regards to demogorgan he needs to be KILLED in Watchers Keep first. Once released he returns to the plains and makes an appearence as shown in the clip.

how come you always look so damn cool in every photo I see you in?!?

Speaking of modding, I listened to IER 3 yesterday, so you can have another quote for your signature: how come you sound so damn cool, as well as look it? It's unfair. Seriously.

Still a cyberjock, still hacking the matrix, still unsure of what that means.

Hmm, there is definitely something wrong here... You are the first to report such a bug and the Epilogue is supposed to run fine... I wonder if you can check in the redemption folder and find Joneleth's large portrait - I believe it is the bmp folder... If it is there I can't understand why the epilogue is not running. Can you email me your save game - the one you are having problems with?

Please use this email address kirjana@fiam.net as the hotmail may not accept a file that big. Just zip your entire savegame folder and email it - and thanks in advance!

Yes as Seifer had mentioned if you have imprisoned him in the original game - he would not appear. (As he is obviously sealed) But if you killed him/banished him into Abyss than he will come to take Jon back and you can play riddles with him instead of fighting him.

If you want him anyway - email me and I will send you a cheat that you can do via clua console to change his condition from imprisoned to killed. :)

Freedom cannot be equated with goodness, virtue, or perfection. Freedom has its own unique self-contained nature; freedom is freedom ? not universal goodness. Any confusion or deliberate equalization of freedom with goodness and excellence is in itself negation of freedom, and acceptance of the path of restraint and enforcement.
