Ok, this is a post of praise, though not of the usual kind :D

You got the Avariel background pratically perfectly down. Save from the timing of their almost-exiction (which in Canon Faerun is before the First Flowering, so around 25 000 years ago, before the Crown Wars) you get it :D

Also, the fact that the other subraces didn't help the fight of the Avariel agaist the Dragon, it is true, in Canon because they were busy with the First Crown War (there was a reason, even if it is perfectly logical that the avariel do not consider it a *good* reason...)

So... this post is a praise^^ It is always good to see true elves around in mod, and this, with the Xan Mod, is a true gem^^

Thank you :)

And there will be more praise soon I fear... I am talktative when I like something é.è I am sorry

PS: here is a page from races of faerun about avariel, there are a couple more if maybe you want to add something do Darian^^ If you already had them, scratch them out XD

As I recall, Tempest has his own backstory for the Avariel; he didn't specifically refer to canon events but rather his own :-)

Bit of both, really. :P I didn't know the full canonical backstory, as my knowledge of the Forgotten Realms is fairly limited. I built on what I did know to create an appropriate backstory and atmosphere for Darian.

"The righteous need not cower before the drumbeat of human progress. Though the song of yesterday fades into the challenge of tomorrow, God still watches and judges us. Evil lurks in the datalinks as it lurked in the streets of yesterday, but it was never the streets that were evil." - Sister Miriam Godwinson, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri

Yep! I was wonderfully surprised about how you handled it :D As I said... Elves can be difficult to manage ^.^
