Hello all, I just recently started another playthrough of BGT. So far the game has been great, but I just got to Durlag's Tower and found the Long Sword +1 (Flame Tongue) missing from Level 5 (where I think it was supposed to be in a chest?). The chest where it was supposed to be has a 'normal' (nonmagical) long sword. I've cleared out the whole area but still haven't found it. Is this a bug? I know Hard Times changes around the locations of some items, does it do it for Flame Tongue as well? Any help would be much appreciated!

Looks fine in vanilla BGT. A mod may have shifted things around a bit.

Hmmm. That looks likely. I've narrowed it down to Hard Times and/or SCS. Hard Times I know changes the location of some items. Any Hard Times experts around?

Thanks for the reply Ascension64!

Use the Mass Change-Log Tool (or use the manual weidu method), get a change-log on file ISW1H24.ITM - this will tell which mods have 'touched' the file.

Erhm, why not just say "make a change-log from the sw1h24-file." ? :P

ISW1H24.itm? Isn't it SW1H24.itm?

Moreover, a change-log on ARD014.are and ARD014.bcs is also recommended, as those are also files which may point to the mod that caused it.

Thanks for that link, I didn't have it saved.

dude, your write-up needs clean-up. A new user is gonna have a hard time understanding that, let-alone reading it -- I did. :o
