Romance Broken?

I'm not sure if I've run into a bug or hit a normal run of silence in the mod. Adrian has been silent since my last LT (the one where he tells you he asks why you helped him with his earlier quest and where he says he won't betray you). I've pressed onwards past Ch 2 through Ch 3 up until the option to go to Spellhold. Not a peep unless it's party banter or quest-related, though I did get his general dialogue for starting Ch 3 a while back.

I checked his globals in Shadowkeeper and the AdrianRomanceActive variable is at 1 and AdrianTalks is at 31. I was reading a previous topic posted that said the AdrianRomanceActive variable should be at 2 before proceeding to Spellhold, but I'm not getting anything else. I'm not sure what went wrong. :/
