You probably neglected to edit the data path lines in Baldur.ini to point to the current install directory.

BiG World Fixpack (community collection of mod fixes and compatibility patches, with user-friendly cross-platform script)

BiG World Setup (tool to automate best-practice installation of Infinity Engine mods on Windows, with conflict analysis)

I finally installed all the content I wanted in the first place, but manually. BWS was not letting me install BGT, I don't know why. But with all the reading and researching I undertand the order and components of each mod so I had less trouble than in the first place. Anyway, ty for the help.

Btw, I couldn't find any character editor that work on the BG1 part of the game (BGT install). All crashed when trying to open saved games (eekeeper, shadowkeeper, swordcoastkeeper... etc). Any recomendation of an updated one?

Well in the BGT-weidu based game, the Shadowkeeper is your supposed editor, of those. So it's anyones guess why it crashes.
Maybe the BWS'es not allowing you to install the BGT-weidu into your game is a related thing. The BWS does give you a reason in the screen you select the BG1 directory... as to why it's not approved.

Near Infinity can edit saved games too(use the snapshot version, not the ages old editions)... it's a bit more complicated and it has far less friendly Graphical User Interface to edit saves, but it should be able to do the things you want with it, without crashing. If you have questions, I might be able to help more.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

I found a version of Shadowkeeper that worked, hurray!!! Now I'm finally playing the char I want with the mods I wanted, ty for all guys!

2 questions:

there's any mod to add the content lost for not playing BG:EE? (like neera, dorn and the shaved head guy)

and... talking about another topic... I would like to keep Imoen in my party like a thief in BG1+TotSC,and then in SoA/ToB dual class her into a mage. I'm playing with the exp cap remover (so I can reach 50 lev). Wich would be the best level to dual class Imoen to a mage? All the comments or post say level 6 or close to that. Would't be better to dual class her around level 20-25 to get the use any item HLA or something else? or... idk

Rasaad.

No. They are pure EE game characters, not backwards for BGT (each of them adds new areas and items to the game that are not compatible with the *old* game.).

The Sandrah Saga

another piece of *buggy, cheesy, unbalanced junk*

Well this is because most of those comments are correct.. the reason to not go with HLA thief is just cause it's REALLY ineffective for the XP amount. you'll put into her gaining those extra HLAs. See to just get the 20th level thief, you'll be pouring ~3000 000xp on her, then to play her as a mage and not thief, you'll be pouring another 3M xp on her, and then you get the benefit of the sum. That's at least 2/3-9/10ths of the whole game in. Now, to level her at level 7-10, she gets good enough bonuses, HPs, thief skills etc and then to get her gain XP with the mage class, you'll probably have quite collection of the spells scrolls you can make her learn and none of those are wasted *... and the class itself is not quite but close enough to the HLA as you can use the mage and thief armor, weapons and spells... if you get yourself a elf chainmail to wear, as a thief/mage's can do that, and you can still use those thief skills too(usually with penalties, but hey, so what....). .

Ty Modder and The Imp. With this, I'm done with the questions, and just start enjoying what I've being doing.

pd: close the topic  :)
