As I quibble about the new HLAs I just thought that I would take a second to single out some components that really have me excited about this mod....

3.: Sword Angel Kit

A noble fighter, with a focus on "spiritual" abilities and HLAs.
If you want to play an extremely good character, and try a new challenge...
*Not* for powergamers!!!

4.: Revised shapeshifting for Druids, especially for Shapeshifters

With this fix the player can finally use shapeshifting as originally intended: they gain all the resistances and immunities of the werewolf forms, but they also lose the capability to cast spells and talk. This solves the "dispellable paws" as well.

5.: SwashImoen

Imoen will become a Swashbuckler/Mage instead of the pure Thief/Mage..

All of these look fantastic to me! I keep toying with the idea of making Imoen a Swashbuckler/Mage in just about every game of BG2 I play ... but I never get around to actually doing it. This will be highly appreciated!

One of my favorite PCs was a fighter (7) whom I dualed to Shapeshifter via shadowkeeper (naughty naughty I know :) ). I had an internal backstory that I liked and had a blast playing him in werewolf form. I did get really tired of the dispellable paws though. With this component I will be tempted to give him or a pure shapeshifter another go.

I?ve mentioned how much I like the look of the sword angel kit elsewhere, but when you guys actually do release this mod the *first* thing I will be trying out is this kit.

Kudos for these and other good ideas!

I just wanted to let you guys know how blown away I am by the new HLA icons & spell visuals!

In the course of the little testing that I've done so far I've just been amazed time after time. My most recent moment came when seeing a successful Destruction attack. OMG! That was too much!

The Channel Magic one is fantastic as well!

I could go on and on. This stuff is great!

Thanx for the comments, Rath :)

Most of the new animations are from IWD2, yet I believe a decent job has been done in combining and timing stuff ^_^ Best resulting effect imho is in Rune of Immunity ^_^

I've extracted many animations from Torment recently, some will surely be used for future versions ;)

Ever forward, my darling wind...

Again, thanks for the positive comments guys, it is really appreciated! We put a great amount of work into those visuals and the icons (gods, I cannot remember how many times I had to redraw those icons before they started to look like this - actually, I'm quite proud of them :P ).

Your drawings were almost always VERY good at the first attempt.
It were the backgounds that required the heaviest hassle (from my side at least :) )

I've been positively surprised with the portrait icons, too ^_^

Ever forward, my darling wind...
