from the game spell description....
"The spells that are affected by this are: Refected Image, Invisibility, Mirror Image, Non-detection, Improved Invisibility, Shadow Door, Mislead, Project Image, and Simulacrum."
it sure seems that the only way to get rid of simulacrum is to kill it...
i can't remember if death fog killed my simmys...but i am pretty sure i was able to deathspell enemy simulacrums...the cowles who like to bother me and i like to kill them...at least one instance, in one of the higher level encounters, the cowlie summoned a simmy, and the simmy turned invisible...so i deathspelled him, and killed it...
but seriously folks, simmys should be vulnerable to true sight...it is illusion school after all...

Simmy sucks in so many ways compared to PI ... I would leave it this one perk.
Also it is interesting that True Sight doesn?t mention anything about dispelling Mass Invisibility.

yep...but the spell description does indeed say it should...I will point out that technically it is the school of ?Illusion/Phantasm? and that while Illusions are should be dispellable Phantasms should not be.

and simmy is much more powerful than images...restoration spell, wish spell cheese, and you're all set...
best of all is images summoning simmys...yum...
mass invisibility is a area effect improved invisibility...which is in the spell description...
anyway, its a better spell than improved invisibility...
besides, spell immunity or boots of preserving will protect a simmy as an image does...and its still immune to dispell magic, remove magic...

It's only if you use that cheese that Simulacrum becomes more powerful. I've never actually done it while playing. In fact I haven't even tested it myself to verify that it works.and simmy is much more powerful than images...restoration spell, wish spell cheese, and you're all set...

I just bashed some cowles and one of them cast simmy...oh yeah...littiz mentioned testing simmys with beholder death spell, but the simmys created by cowles will die if you deathspell them...is the spell actually different???
deathspell does indeed kill simmys, but here's the problem...deathspell also killed the spell caster who cast simulacrum, so the clone is low enough level to be killed by the default property deathspell, killing all enemies below a certain level...
now simmy didn't die when i pushed it into a deathcloud, like all other summons, so i may be simply wrong, death spell probably does not kill simmys...
if beholder death spell is the same as the mage version, then for sure death spell will not kill simmy...
