the best dark side powers are death field, force storm...
lots more excellent light side powers, like valor, destroy droid, heal, armor...
force valor is a light side power...cheap to cast, then you fry your enemies with +5 penalty to save force storm...+3 from force focus as counselor, then +2 stats boost for charisma and wisdom from force valor. yep, the cool dark side powers are expensive, but a counselor has a lot of force points...
god, i love counselors...

currently playing a scoundrel counselor, dual at 6, and with these stats, doing excellent damage even as a bash everything soldier counselor i used to play...
