Exactly. The fighting is greatly improved. But there's another aspect, too. It makes you run faster. Extremely usable in large areas, such as Dantooine and Tatooine to name two.All the speeds are good to get. Master Speed can make you a machine of destruction. In the robot room just before the final Malak fight, I had my guardian put a master speed on herself, and all I know is that I killed 84 robots in all...(with several uses of speed of course)

That one is also extremely useful. Against droids, that is. Agains living beings, I usually go for Stasis Field and then chop them down (JG) or Force Lightning (JC).Never used the speed powers meself.

Speed isn't a light side power, btw, if that's what you thought (that's how I interpreted your reply)...

I also think healing is neccessary. When I play DS, I have one of the LS jedi learn it, probably Bastila.

After reading this thread, I have an urge to play again though... as a consular this time.
Here's a screenie of my stats before the Star Forge... The light side robe is too fugly there imo, but it does add some more +wisdom... I think I had defense of 32 and Wisdom of 18 with it? Not sure.

I can certainly see why...It also rocked because my guardian's str was 28 and she dual-wielded sabers, both with Solari and Upari crystals. I knocked malak out in one master power attack
Seriously, I can't be fun to have a character that can take out the final boss in one blow. Takes all the sport out of the game.
Btw, unless you have strengh-enchanting items, I don't think it's possible to have that much strengh, if you don't cheat or use an editor, of course...
The same thing goes for Arian, but he's probably got some equipment. I'd be fun to know what.

I wasn't keen on whirlwind meself but wave can save your life on the SF. Have your PC cast it and it gives you the few seconds you need to heal and regroup. Very useful power IMO.

Yavin it is. Yavin 4, I believe...Nah, never cheated. Played it fair and square. The best equipment comes from that orbital store... around that planet. It's only in the PC version.. Yavin? Something like that. Best prices there too, easy to make some solid cash.

Stasis, and later Stasis Field, worked on the tarentateks, for my Scout 4/Light Side Consular X.That is a very useful power it even kills those big bug things (one on Kashyk, others on Korriban) so now I'm going to see if they are immune to light and neutral power (which they are) AND dark powers (apart from kill which works)
