I suppose so...though i hardly think its fair for the players not to be able to rest or load...still the fight with the 5 liches is impossible of course...ctrl-y is required...i just thought it would be better NOT to encourage the players to use cheats...cause in this case anyone would cheat...unless he knew this bug all over and went there at high lvl without rest or load...but it still sucks for those who dont know the bug...So it sounds like the best (easy) answer is to not let you go there until you have leveled up some more.

now *there's* a solution: Forp has a level-check on him before he turns up; a similar check on the paranoid salesman to stop him appearing before the party can handle it would be simple to implement. So it sounds like the best (easy) answer is to not let you go there until you have leveled up some more.

I do not remember how you discover Riatavin (wasn't a dwarf at Copper Coronet ?), but IMHO, TDD is intented to low level players. If you go through it at chapter six, you'll play this part after TS, after Spellhold and Underdark, and it would be too easy. Every TDD part but that damn 5 liches wasn't very challenging at level 10-11, so I can't imagine with a party with level 16-17 or more...So it sounds like the best (easy) answer is to not let you go there until you have leveled up some more.

With my party at level 11, that's one can call for an impossible mission. And Tom Cruise is not in my team.

Scroll again undeads is very powerfull on a warrior completly boosted ( taco and damage) you can have a better taco with a cleric spell...
(for example ):
-Anomen +++ ( scroll again undeads + vertuous magic ( damage max) + giant of storm potion+ improved haste+ a good weapon )
-Take Jaheira ( iron skin ) or cernd or Vezin the aquatic druid and summon the greater bearweres, hasted them and see...![]()

of course there's only 1 lich...in TDD the bug doesnt exist...it only happens in Bp anyway...and u won't find more than 1 lich unless u load or rest, or get out and again in...the same applies to all undead on that dungeon floor...This is a bug, there should only be 1 liche. There has only everytime I have played. Even with only TDD installed.

3) mod? - Underdark - Coming back from east passage, every Githyanki but Symiaz don't go hostile.
There are the two underdark bugs I ran into 10 mths ago. I hope they get fixed. Seanas, any idea when the next patch will be released?

Assuming none of the above issues present significant problems, and that RL issues don't intervene, i'd estimate a couple of weeks. Maybe less if we're lucky. maybe a lot more if we're not.
i'll be uploading beta fixes as i find them, so when the list of beta fixes is the same length as the list of bugs, then i'd suggest the next patch would be mere days away

btw seanas, hlid and everyone, have u ever thought of the immunity to illusions which all undead should have?It is the only thing I have never seen fixed or reported by anyone...why is that I cannot imagine...

IF Allegiance(Myself,EVILCUTOFF) Heard([EVILCUTOFF],ALERT_151) !See([GOODCUTOFF]) !TargetUnreachable(LastHeardBy(Myself)) THEN RESPONSE #100 MoveToObject(LastHeardBy(Myself)) END
ie, if they can't see you for whatever reason, but they can hear you, then they'll still attack you.

Then how come I can backstab them effectively? I dont know perhaps u r right....they do use their powers while im invisible...but I cant remember if they actually attacked me or not...I'll check...btw undead should all be immune to backstab as golems...Horred's scripts have effective immunity to illusions built into them, such as:
IF Allegiance(Myself,EVILCUTOFF) Heard([EVILCUTOFF],ALERT_151) !See([GOODCUTOFF]) !TargetUnreachable(LastHeardBy(Myself)) THEN RESPONSE #100 MoveToObject(LastHeardBy(Myself)) END
ie, if they can't see you for whatever reason, but they can hear you, then they'll still attack you.

There is.err yeah, it does
*hides head in shame*
i know there's illusion detection in there somewhere
IF
Allegiance(Myself,ENEMY)
OR(7)
Gender(NearestEnemyOf(Myself),ILLUSIONARY)
StateCheck(NearestEnemyOf(Myself),STATE_INVISIBLE)
StateCheck(NearestEnemyOf(Myself),STATE_IMPROVEDINVISIBILITY)
StateCheck(SecondNearestEnemyOf(Myself),STATE_INVISIBLE)
StateCheck(SecondNearestEnemyOf(Myself),STATE_IMPROVEDINVISIBILITY)
StateCheck(ThirdNearestEnemyOf(Myself),STATE_INVISIBLE)
StateCheck(ThirdNearestEnemyOf(Myself),STATE_IMPROVEDINVISIBILITY)
!GlobalTimerNotExpired("DragonSight","LOCALS")
THEN
RESPONSE #100
SetGlobalTimer("DragonSight","LOCALS",ONE_TURN)
ReallyForceSpell(Myself,WIZARD_TRUE_SIGHT)
END
This allows a dragon to cast true sight when you try to sneak up on it. Therefore, you shouldn't be able to backstab it either.

True, but in this case, the true sight should remove a thief's hide in shadows, so the thief can't backstab. Of course, if the dragon had the right items on it, this can't happen anyway. You shouldn't be able to backstab them anyways, since they're huge and not humanoid.
