Yeah -- it's not just Peldvale now. I have it at the Gibberling Mountains as well.

I've gone through all the actor spawns in both places, even removing all of them to see if that helps and it still crashes to desktop. No new text: exact same as above.

I'm going to do a reinstall this weekend again, it looks like, and cut down on the number of things installed I guess.

Could you please try out the instructions in this post? :) The area you're looking for is AR8900.ARE btw :D

Thanks for the reply! I've been trying this for the last hour or so. All of the creatures generate okay, and I'm not sure how deep I should go. I've gone through the AR8900 and the BGSpawn scripts for Peldvale, and everything spawns okay. I wonder if it has to do with Viconia -- I was getting Kit errors when going to Viconia.BCS. Clipping the issues out of KIT.IDS isn't helping, though.

I'm almost to the point of counting Peldvale as lost... which sucks since I was going to recruit Viconia for the Neutral/evil group. Looking for the script for Viconia's rescue so I can try it in another place or set the globals and moving on. Nothing else in there that I can think of, really.

I'm not getting much, even with the Logging On=1 addition to baldur.ini -- just the same. I've attached the file.

As for when it crashes, it goes to Loading, and the bar doesn't even fill -- it crashes pretty much exactly after saving.
